About us

Welcome to the island of Kamadhoo and our guesthouse Kamadhoo Inn. Here, you come as a guest but you leave as a friend.

Our philosophy

We are Silvia from Italy and Naseef from Maldives. We followed our dream of being the hosts of our own guesthouse in Maldives. After having visited many local islands, we have decided to settle in Kamadhoo, Baa Atoll. We fell in love with the island Kamadhoo and the beautiful guesthouse Kamadhoo Inn because of its great location, its natural beauty and its pleasant atmosphere.

Kamadhoo offers not only picture-perfect white beaches and turquoise waters, but a full local island experience. A vacation on a local island gives you the chance to get to know the Maldivians, their culture and traditions, taste new foods and discover hidden corners of the Maldives, on land and in the water.

To share with travelers from all around the world the natural beauty of the Maldives and offer them an authentic and very personal local island experience is truly our passion.

We welcome you as our friend and we are very excited to be your host during this amazing and unique experience.

We were welcomed by the people of Kamadhoo island from the beginning and we are very grateful for that. That’s why it is very important to us to engage with the local community, and support and assist them in protecting their tropical paradise.

We focus on using less and hopefully soon zero plastic in our guesthouse and we try to locally buy fish, seafood, fruits and vegetables. We organize Beach & Reef clean ups in Kamadhoo, but also on nearby sandbanks and uninhabited islands. Also, all our excursions are guided by locals and most of our staff is from Kamadhoo.

We are very proud to collaborate with Soneva Namoona, an amazing NGO organization involving the local islands of Baa Atoll to improve their Waste Management. Their support and effort truly make the difference for these islands.

We believe in a more sustainable and fair tourism and it is our vision and mission to protect this gem we are lucky enough to call it our home.

Maruhabaa my friends,

I am Naseef, but everyone calls me Natho.
I was born in the most Southern Atoll of the Maldives, in Addu, and I grew up right next to the beach and the ocean. Already as a child I loved to spend every free minute in the water. My greatest passion is fishing and freediving and I am thrilled to take you with me on amazing fishing trips and share with you the wonders of the underwater world.

Welcome to my home.

Hello Travelers of the World,

I am Silvia and I am from South Tyrol, the northern most region of Italy. I speak German, Italian and English.

The Maldives are my second home and I love them with all my heart. The nature of this country is mesmerizing, its underwater world is astonishing and its people are so kind-hearted. This is what I truly want to share with our guests because I promise you it will be an unforgotten journey filled with wonderful moments.
